How to Remove Epic from Backlog

We have an epic that has been completed.  All of the associated issues are closed as well as the epic itself.  However, it still shows up in the agile board backlog.  How can I remove it?

JIRA v. 6.4.11 with JIRA Agile v. 6.7.11
