Hi. I'm in QA. My developer wants me to provide testing feedback in the Comments section, and he wants a checkbox next to each thing we find wrong. That way his developers can indicate which is fixed and which is outstanding by selecting (or not selecting) the checkbox.
Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

checklists are not natively supported in Jira comments or descriptions. You could, however, try one of the available add-ons from the Atlassian Marketplace, such as Multiple Checklists for Jira. It allows you to create checklists, add items, mark their status and so. Here's how it looks like in the Jira issue view:
