How can I filter Sprint Report by component?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Viewing the Sprint Report

Basically the same request is here: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/17904189

This is necessary to see what components are staying on getting the most feature creep, keeping on track, or flowing over.

There is no option available to view the report by component. Do you have any reporting software or add-ons connected to JIRA?

Not that I'm aware of, but I'm not one of my companies JIRA people. My teams PM might be able to acquire/install these things to get the desired functionality. Is there anything you'd recommend?
