Ho can I connect from confluence to jira with same credentials?

My use case is to connect from confluence (macro) to JIRA over java rest call. Both systems has the same user base. I want to use the credentials of current confluence user. Not a http base auth.

Thanks!

Hi Steffen,

You should use the application links API to do that.

Check this tutorial for a sample how to do that
