I am not able to search bugs by reporter name .

Only able to search by currentUser().

Please advise

What query are you using and what are the symptoms of "not able to search"?

What happens when you try "reporter = dave"?  (Assuming dave is one of your users)

Query that i have used :-  project=name AND reporter=name

when i try to search by any of the name , i get below mentioned error message

The value 'Sara' does not exist for the field 'reporter'.

Ok, what does it try to autocomplete "sara" to when you start typing it?  Also, could you try just using Sara's actual plain login id (it'll be lower case and one word, no spaces)
