Group permissions not populating to user

Added a new user to group, however she is not receiving the notifications, what should be done

How are you using the group with regards to notifications?  

is the group added to the notification scheme of the related project?

it could be because your notifications are not defined according to the group. notifications could be defined according to roles or other values.

No one else in the group is experiencing this

The group is added to the notification scheme.  

We are going to recreate her account and re-add to the group,
