Go to view issue screen after creating a new issue

After creating a new issue, I would like to be routed to the view screen of that issue instead of searching for it in the project queue. Our users get a small pop-up on the screen when the create the new issue, but this is easy to miss if you don't click it fast enough. 

Is there  a workaround to force the view screen of the new issue to display when it is created?

The Issue Quick Start plugin works great smile  Give it a try!

I did install this plugin and it's working well. However it's listed as incompatible in our JIRA 7.3 environment. I've emailed the developer to see if he's planning on releasing a new version. 

Unfortunately we may not be able to use it until then, since there is a  concern about incompatibility after later update/upgrades. 

If you are running JIRA 7.1 though this is a perfect solution!
