We had a field “Original Estimate” and “Remaining Estimate “ under User Story that had week –day – hour format by default .
We wanted to get into Story point format . The admin group was requested . It seems that they had left Original Estimate field and created a new field as Story point.
Now , in Sprint # 1 we had kept hours as W-D-H format , while in Sprint 2 once we had this new field ( called “Story Point” ) added .In Sprint # 2 , we started logging story points in user story level estimate and task we go with hours.But we are seeing some discrepancy on burn down chart.
In our sprint # 2 we had estimated 270 hours ( around 34 SP ) , but team is seeing a size of 432 hours on Burndown . What could have caused this extra hours ( 160 hours ) ?
