Fees? How to get reimbursed for unused server fees?

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Migrating from JIRA Server to JIRA Cloud

In order to update to Cloud, I need to update our Server.  This means updating our license for a year. 

Does Atlassian transfer the money spent on my Server license to Cloud fees?  Can I get reimbursed for the Server Fees?

This is a question better answered by support.

I'd imagine you could use a trial to upgrade your software, during the preparation for import.
