Email notifications are not coming through.

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Editing and collaborating on issues

All the setting seem to be right but the notifications are not coming through to my email when my teammates update an issue.  Also, my updates are not emailed to them?  Am I missing a setting?  Thanks.

Please use Troubleshooting email notifications. Also you may need to check smtp settings.
