Display the name of who made the last update

When searching issues, i would like to display the name of who made the last update.  I cannot seem to find the way to show that on the screen.  Help

JQL have a feature for "Updated" but that works with "Date" not with "Users".

If you don't have a custom field that stores who last updated the ticket, you won't have any way to do what you want unless you use plugins or DB queries (like what have been initially suggested).

I don not have access to database and we do not ave plugin.

Does the JQL not allow for such information?

There are two options at first sight:

  • SQL query to a database
  • script field provided by script Runner plugin.
