Customize fonts in JIRA Service Desk

Hi dear colleagues from Atlassian Community! 

I want to change font details (size, color, etc …). To resolve this, I would like to use an alternative to the source css files. I found [announcement banner] as an alternative.

However, I would like to know if the code in the [announcement banner] is css, or which specific language I must use to write my specific settings.
