Use case: Add the Issue Reporter for the users who do not have access to JIRA. The users most of the type reports issue via email, so we manually go to JIRA and add the issue.
Solution: We decided to create a separate field called 'Reported by' of Type Label or Single select.
Issue: The field of Type Label does not show the existing users added when we start typing. However, when we click on the drop down of the field, we can see the list of the label(users).
Expectation 1: When we start typing in the "Reported by" field, the suggestions should start populating so that user do not miss-spell the names of the users
Expectation 2: It would be nice to have a field something similar to the "Components" fields, where we can write the User name with spaces. Currently, we are using period(.) in between such as UserFN1.LastName, UserFN2.LastName etc.
Any alternative solution is appreciated too.
