Custom field for zip code

We added a custom numeric field to our screen for a zip code; however it is removing the leading zero from the zip code.  I was told by support the zero is removed automatically but we need this field to store the zip code and in some instances the zip codes do begin with "0".  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ridhy,

It shouldn't delete leading zeros if you specify the type of your custom field as Text Field (single line)

Okay that corrected it.  Also is there a way for a SSN to appear in the correct format with the hyphen example: 123-45-6789.
