I have searched, but couldn't find any answer. My goal is:
Based on an issue search, how do I get statistics for the found issues of how long each have been in different states in the workflow, e.g. Created, Open, Resolved?
What I want to achieve is to create a report of how long it takes for my organization to answer/fix different types of issues.
The Created vs Resolved chart will give you some indication of the 'flow' of issues through your workflow but not down to individual statuses.
Have you tried the JIRA Charting plugin. It has a gadget to give you average time in each status.
But that's probably not exactly what you are looking for. The only other tool I've seen that can do this is Eazy BI.
