I'm able to create a HipChat room from a ticket and so are some of my admins, but developers can't see the "Create Room" button in tickets. How can I ensure that anyone can create a HipChat room from a JIRA ticket?
What's likely causing this issue is that your HipChat is currently configured to only allow admins to create rooms.
To view what permissions are currently active, log in to HipChat in your browser, (as an admin), and go to Group Admin -> Preferences. From there you should be able to make the needed changes.
