Hi All, We are planning to create a scrum board to handle planned activities and another kanban board to handle any production support issues. Both the boards will be created under a single project. Is it possible to generate a combined report? If so how?
Or what is the preferable approach, is it better to create two separate projects with single board? Can we still create a combined report? If so how?
Depends on the report you are looking for. A lot of the reports and JIRA gadgets get data from filters and so you can create a filter than includes data from both the boards.
Having said that, reports like burndown charts are specific to a board. And are available only on Scrum boards. If you need to see the burndown of multiple boards in a single place, you will have to create a new board from a filter that includes all those issues and check the report in that board.
Thanks Jobin,
do you know if we can create a common report for two different projects?

Yes but it will have to be a single board. Create a new filter, create a board from the new filter and then see the reports on that board.
