Starting in Q3 of last year, my company's JIRA response time has degraded. I think, but am not sure, that this coincided with the new UI rollout. Generally, screen rendering time, previously felt instantaneous but is now on the order of seconds (3-10).
We have made no other changes, and my very fast home network has the same results. Our system hosts about 100 users with about 10K issues spread over 20 projects and 10 scrum and kanban boards.
So, my first question is whether anyone else is seeing this? Second, as a cloud service, is there anything I can do to our usage (I am the admin) to improve response. We certainly can find stale things to clean up (e.g., old projects, unused projects), but it would be good to get some validation and then know where to start.

If you really feel that your service has degraded you can always submit a ticket to Atlassian and they can check you instance and make sure that there is not anything in the hosting that could be causing the problem. https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/
I have multiple projects that use variations of the same base workflow. The variations depend on the requirements of the project or issue type. The variations mostly come in the form of new statuses ...
