Ceptah-How to get enabled on JIRA

Barry Plumb May 18, 2016

Have MS Project-Ceptah cannot connect from MS Project.   Does this need to be enabled on JIRA in order for it to work?   If so what needs to be done.

No specific JIRA configuration required unless you have JIRA 5 or older. Barry, what error do you get? Also, could you send a screenshot of your connection settings to support@ceptah.com? If you are getting the 401 Not Authorized error, make sure that you are not using your e-mail as login. OnDemand allows logging in to the web UI with an e-mail, but it is not a proper login for the REST API that Ceptah Bridge uses.

For Cloud installations of JIRA, no, there's nothing to do on the JIRA side (apart from putting your issues in) - it's all configured on the Ceptah side.  See http://www.ceptah.com/Bridge/Help/index.htm
