Cannot find "System Info" link or Server ID

Completely new to JIRA. Trying to get academic license applied. I have to enter my Server ID, but I can't find it. The instructions say:


  1. Log in as a JIRA administrator
  2. Click on the Settings icon and choose System
  3. Click on the System info link
  4. Your Server ID is listed in the JIRA info section


I clicked Settings icon and it was automatically opened to the System tab. 

But I cannot see any "System info" link".  Can you please provide information about how to directly access this and find my Server ID?

Unfortunately, System Info link has been removed from JIRA Cloud instances.

Yes - I see that.  smile  That is exactly the issue.  

My real question is:

How do we find our ServerID since there is no longer a Server Info tab (and all the documentation telling us how to find ServerID is not out-of-date)?

Are you looking to apply an academic licence to a JIRA Server or a JIRA Cloud instance? It sounds like maybe you are trying to apply to JIRA Cloud, but following instructions for JIRA Server. Can you share a link to the docs you are looking at?

If you are trying to apply to JIRA Cloud, I'm not sure if Atlassian actually offer academic pricing for their Cloud products. The info here seems to imply that it is only available for server products:

Academic pricing is available to qualified academic institutions for Atlassian's server products.

It might be worth contacting Atlassian directly to check for sure:
