Cannot assign issue to myself and I am new Project Lead. My name does not appear in the drop down nor when I use "automatic" I receive The default assignee does NOT have ASSIGNABLE permission

Hi Tim,

             In order to have yourself assigned. Please go to Project Administration and check what roles have Assignable Issue permission, If you are not part of that AD group / Project Role. Add yourself to group/role.

• The other way to do this is to tweak the Permission Scheme and add Project Lead to Assignable Issue permission.
