We are reorganizing projects in jira to consolidate similar operations. Users are concerned that they won't be able to find the new ticket if they have references to the old ticket under the old project. Is there a report or query that can be run to gather this info?
Jira keeps track of the issue key, so you can use either the old or the new key to get to the issue. If you are running Jira Server you could query the database to get a list of old and new keys, the change is stored in the changeitem table.
