I want to set priorities on my issues but I can't find the field. It appears under `Configure Board` -> `Issue Detail` view but not on any actual issues. When I go to edit an issue and look under `Configure Fields` it's not listed.
If you are a Jira-admin you will be having access to use Admin helper as mentioned by victor and do the changes as per the result.
The cause may be
1.Field will not be in the screen
2.Field cough have kept hidden.
If you are not a jira-admin check with the admin to get it sorted.

Could be that the field isn't on your screen.
Go to your ticket -->Admin --> Where is my field?
