Can't create issues in Jira

I can no longer create issues in JIRA. I get the following nonsensical error message referencing a non-existent field called "Account":

Account: Account is required.

That suggests that the field "account" has been removed from the screens, while your workflow contains validators and/or field configuration say that the field is mandatory.

The "account" field is often a function of the Tempo add-on - do you have that in your menu?  Could you check if it's installed and enabled?
