Can i see the workflow of a project as an user?

Yifan Lu August 19, 2016

Hello every one,

i know only an administrator can create and edit a workflow of the project.

But as an user, how can i see the workflow model?

If its not possible as default setting, is it possible to make it visible for users by the administrator?

Best regards,

Yifan

Have a look at the permission scheme - this has a line saying "view workflow".

If a user matches the rule for that (frankly, I see zero value in hiding it, so I usually just add every project role into it!), then they will have a link underneath the Status in the main issue view.  Clicking on that will pop up a window with the diagram for the workflow for that issue.

Note that a project could be using many workflows, so it makes some sense to show the workflow for the current issue.  Although it might be nice to be able to get the list for the project and enable the same popup in the project header (I think there's a request for that in Atlassian's tracker)
