Can I have multiple workflows associated to multiple issue types in a project

Hi,

I want to use JIRA for test case creation for existing projects. How do i achieve it?

I have these set up in JIra

Projects: Project A, Project B, Project C

Issue types: Bug , story, epic

Workflow Scheme: Workflow SchemeA, Workflow Scheme B, Workflow Scheme C

Now I want to add test cases in JIRA for every project. Hence I added a new issue type - Test case

I created a seperate workflow "test case workflow" and associated with the issue type. 

Now I am trying to associate my test case workflow with the existing projects which are already using different workflows . Can I do this?How can I achieve this without disturbing any existing data on my JIRA setup.
