Burndown chart updates only after user story closes

Vikram Abrol January 20, 2016

The burn down chart is not updated unless the story closes. Ideally we want the burn down chart to reflect changes real time / each day as and when we have our team members update the JIRA .

Any configuration changes / set up to be changed ?

The JIRA Burn Down charts will burn on two configurations, burned down if the "Issue Closes" or by "Logged Work". I assume you want the latter.

The configuration for this can be found on your Board, click on "Configure" on the top right section, then click on the "Estimation" tab. In the "Time Tracking" section, select "Remaining Estimate and Time Spent"

You need to map the status values that you consider to be Done to the 'Done' column in the dashboard. You do this by going to 'Board-Configure' (top right in JIRA Agile 6.7.12), then 'Configuration-Columns' on the left

What updates would you expect to change the burndown chart?
