Bridge between our server based HPE-ALM and our cloud based JIRA.

We are interested in a bridge between our server based HPE-ALM and our cloud based JIRA.  I know about ORASI's product; is there anything else someone might suggest?

Yes, a bi-directional integration/bridge is possible. This is how it would work:

  • The development team creates a ‘version’ in Jira with basic attributes such as name, description, start date and end date. It synchronizes to HP ALM/QC as a ‘requirement’.
  • The development team, then, creates ‘sprint’ in Jira with basic attributes, which synchronizes to HP ALM/QC as a ‘cycle’.
  • The development team then creates ‘requirements’ in the already created version and sprint in Jira. The ‘requirements’ sync to HP ALM/QC with traceability of cycle and release.
  • The developer then works on the requirement and updates the status of the ‘requirement’ to ‘closed’ in Jira, which again synchronizes to status of the ‘requirement’ in HP ALM/QC.
  • The QA team, then runs a quality test and finds a ‘defect’. They log the defect in HP ALM/QC, which synchronizes to Jira.

If this is close to what you are looking for, you should try OpsHub Integration Manager for this integration. It supports integration of the following entities in Jira and HPE-ALM.

Jira: 4.x (except 4.4), 5.x, 6.x, 7.x (till 7.11.x), Cloud

HP: 10.0, 11.0 (Patch 8 i.e. HP ALM 11.00 Service Pack 3 and later), 11.5, 11.5x, 12.0, 12.2, 12.5, 12.52, 12.53 12.55
