Behaviours create issue get future id

Does JIRA provide the interface to obtain future issue ID before creating actual issue? I want to populate a field with the future issue id in Issue Create dialog using Behaviours. If not, sure it could be done in a post-function, but I'd prefer to use Behaviours is such interface exists.

No, you don't get an issue ID until after the "create issue initially" post-function runs.

You could try to display the next free number in the project with Behaviours, I think, but you'd need to warn your users that it could well be wildly inaccurate by the time its been rendered.  If your issue churn is quite low or spread out, it would be moderately accurate most of the time.
