We have enabled JIRA to create tickets using an email handler such that when users send an email to a particular email, it creates a ticket in a specific project with a specific issue type.
The tickets are getting created and also updated but emails are not getting sent – neither on creation nor on updates on the tickets.
We have enabled the notifications to be sent to all watchers, reporter and the assignee.
But still this issue happens. Please advise.
I should have mentioned that notifications only do not work when we create tickets using the email handler method. If we create tickets from JIRA itslef, then notifications are getting sent alright.
Also, I have sent a test email and it sent email successfully.
