Allow unassigned stories in project.

I have agile (Boards) project. 

When I create new story it is automatically assigned to me. And if I delete assignee it is automatically assigned again to me.

In global settings I have Allow unassigned issue to YES.

Hey marko,

                  If you are a project lead of that JIRA project and if you have set default assignee to Project Lead, any issue created will be assigned to you. Check Project Permissions.

then you can't have issues unassigned. that is a JIRA wide, not project level, setting. From a practical standpoint unassigned issues aren't worked reliably.
