Adding a stage to a release stream in Jira Portfolio

In JIRA Portfolio I'd like to add a beta release to a Release.  In summary, we have a number of epics that are being rolled out in a release, but we want to do an internal roll out before it goes out to the public.  What is the best way to add this to the schedule stream in JIRA Portfolio?

Hi Warren, There is no dedicated concept for a sort of beta release - I'd recommend representing it simply as a "normal" release within a stream. The more interesting question will be: As for the efforts you have estimated on your backlog, do you need them done until the internal rollout, or the public release? Personally I focus the releases in Portfolio on the dates we need to get the work scheduled for, so that might actually be the beta date, leaving some leeway, or some dedicated work items to be scheduled between beta and the public release date.
