About JIRA Reporting

Hi,

This is a question regarding the Reporting / Dashboard feature of JIRA.

In our project we have a requirement to generate 2 reports during execution.

1) Daily Test Exection Progress Report displaying, Planned testcase, Actual testcase, cumulative planned, cummulative actual, percentage and blocked testcase.

2) Daily Defect Report showing the count of defects in various status - New, Closed, Defer, Fail, Retest. Also Begin and Backlog count.

Is it possible to get these through JIRA Reporting.

Hi,

SynapseRT plugin do provide some testing related reports and gadgets, please go through online doc here.

Regarding "Daily Defect Report", you can configure a issue search filter to find a list of defects by daily basis.

If you have any question during using SynapseRT, please raise a ticket at our support portal here.

Regards,

Cheney

How are you implementing these "test cases"?

Hi,

We are using SynapseRT plugin to use JIRA as test management tool.

Ah, ok, I'm not familiar enough with it to be able to tell you what reporting it might be able to do, or how it affects JIRA issues in ways that you could use for reporting.

Using Trello to manage events
