A question for the community about the utility of Jira Core Service

Samuele Pretini October 13, 2015

I'm reading the documentation about JIRA Core, in particular I'm reading this page:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracoreserver070/see-what-s-possible-with-jira-core-777015793.html

Really I don't undersand the utility of this service. Maybe I'm missing something....

But all the issue types, workflows, screens, and other I can do myself configuring Jira.

Why I have to buy another service to do what I can do myself?

I don't undersand.

Someone can help me?

Thanks

It's quite simple - if you don't have JIRA Core, you don't have issue types, workflows, screens and so-on.  Because you don't have JIRA at all.  Core is just plain JIRA with no applications like Service Desk or Software.
