can you do a bulk operation in jira to move all epic issues to a fixed version when issues are from

I am trying to bulk move issues that are under an epic to a fixed version; the issue is the Epic was create under one project and the issues created under another and when attempting to bulk move those issues to a fixed version, fixed version field is unavailable action with a note stating can only be performed on issues from ONE project.

Is there anyway around this?

You can use the API to do this basically looping the issues and updating the Fixed version.
