For the last few months Jira Labs has optioned the "New Jira Issue View". While using the New View, the Quick Operations button (the period button that opens actions and fields) does not work. It appears this button is currently disabled on the new view. However, it continues to work on the old view so many of us in my organization are staying on the old view.
But, this is placing us in a hole because soon enough the "New Issue View" will become a 100% reality, and we will have not been ready due to spending all of our time in the old view. (Yeah, the period button is very important)
Atlassian Product folks, can you please enable the period button (Quick Operations button) on the "New Jira Issue View"? This seems like a low hanging fruit with significant and tangible benefit.
Hello Adam,
We understand how the hotkeys shortcuts are required features to save time when editing issues. In fact, our development team is currently working to get it added in the New issue view.
This is the feature request opened to get it implemented in the new view:
- Hotkeys don't work with Jira New Issue View
Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.
For now, we suggest you to keep using the old view while we work to get it implemented in the new issue view.
let me know if you have any questions.
