We are looking for changing the ticket portal. We found add-on to change the front page of the customer portal (from Image1 to Image2) When clicking on one of the 4 Request types, we like to change the interface, design, background, structure and help boxes (image3) We can`t find any add-on able to handle this. So we want our developer to get access to the code behind, in order to change. How can we get access to edit the code? Our JIRA/Service Desk is hosted in Azure.
I would suggest using an app called refined theme to make changes. Looks like you used it in screenshot number two. If that does not work for you then you can edit the application on the web server. I would suggest setting up a development server so you can test your changes. Many of the changes will require you to restart so you might consider downloading the source https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/download-source-code-for-jira-server-800307235.html and work with it to make changes. You can then make changes in the development server. Any seasoned web developer will be able to understand the structure and where they should make changes once you give them access to the dev server files and/or the source code.
