Hallo everybody,
I read the documenation with care, but didn't get it really. So how is escaping working and how to use it? Is there a documentation with some examples or can you share some?
Would be really glad, thank you!
Hi @Hannes
Do you mean how to search for escape / special characters?
Is there a specific scenario you're looking to resolve?
Ste
Hi Ste,
maybe I just was confused by the documentation. So in my understanding I just need escaping when a special/reserved character is included in the string I'm searching for. So for example I'm searching for the string abc*de, I need to search for "abc/*de". Is this correct?
Some examples in the documentation looked like this: "\"test string\"". This was a little bit confusing. So for my understanding here I'm search for this string: "test string". So the " - signs are part of the string. Is this correct?
Thx,
Hannes
