It is not possible to choose between attachments because names are shortened.

I am trying to choose a correct attachment in a case but there are multiple ones that have identical names, because of shortening. This makes it "impossible" to choose the one that I want.

Apparently, the only way is to inspect the full name after downloading them one by one.

Would be useful to see the full name in a popup when hovering.attachments1.PNG

Hello Przemyslaw,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When using the new issue view or a next-gen project, the attachments are shown only as thumbnails and it doesn't show the entire name.

On the old issue view, we could see the attachments as a list, which allowed us to see the entire file name.

With that said, there is a feature request suggesting improvements for attachments on the new issue view:

Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the features.

Regards,
Angélica
