How to include the ticket number and the assignee in the comment automation

We are using Jira Cloud, we have SD portal for customer to log the ticket and we linked it to another project for escalation: in this case for example PRDS

If I understand correctly you want to:

1. Manually comment on issueA, wich has a linked issueB

2. Automatically comment on issueB, including in this comment both the issueKey and assignee of issueA.

If that's the case you'll have to use smartvalues making sure you point to the issue that triggers the automation (issuaA) https://docs.automationforjira.com/reference/smart-values.html#triggerissue

Hope it helps :)

Thanks @Iago Docando  , sorry was not really clear previously..

Basically with the automation I configured, manually commenting to A which is linked to B and vice versa is working

However, I would like to check if there's a way to include:

Case: issue A (SD project) is linked to B (another project "PRDS") for escalation

1. in A = to include the assignee and the issue key when commenting to B

2. in B which was linked to A = to include the assignee and the issue key when commenting to A

Thanks ,

Earl
