How do you set a default parameter in a dashboard gadget

I am using the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget on a number of dashboards.

The default for Number of Results is 5.  

Rather than having to individually set the Number of Results to something else every time i add the gadget to a dashboard, I would like to change the default.

How is that done?

I've never come across anything in the UI, but here is a previous answer that may point you in the right direction:

Obviously if you change the gadget settings it would impact all users.
