A new tab has appeared In JIRA Cloud, which shows the transitions history of when and how long a ticket has been in a specific status. We would like to be able to report on this. has anyone been able to do this? If so, how?

I believe you are talking about the tab from Jira Misc Workflow Extension, an add-on. I tested on my instance and check on the reports but no option appears. Also, I didn't find the option to export this information. You can find more details on their documentation: - Transitions activity tab on issue view page
