When a new ticket is created in Jira Service desk, the slack integration displays the new ticket. From slack I want to be able to take ownership of the ticket before I commence work on it, I do not see this feature available. Can you please confirm if this feature already exists and if not are there any plans to add it as well as expand the functionality?
This is currently possible! We've been rolling this out to everyone and if it's not currently available to you, it will be by the end of this week.
Assigning issues from Slack is quite simple - you've already got notifications flowing into your channel so you can now assign in two easy steps!
