Can I receive Jira notifications only when my team is assigned?

Is it possible to receive notifications from Jira Cloud only when the issue has been assigned to my team (tracking field change to a certain value)?

We are currently using a Distribution List to achieve this. The Assignee is the DL and it send out email to my team and one of the member can go and get it assigned to themself
