Hi
We are currently using NetBackup for the backing up tool, We are backing up both application backups and file system backups with the help of servers.
Here, If we need to take a backup of JIRA, How we can configure?
Is there any alternative way to take a Backup?
Please let us know in detail how to take backups of Jira and Confluence.
Thanks for the info.
For second option we are unable to find the server name,
Could you please help in that.
In the netbackup server name should be there for taking file system backup.
And also which Database is using in our environment for JIRA?
Like Oracle or MySQL?
From Where do we start the backup in the server level?
Please clarify in this.
If you don't know the server name, then how are you using the system? Where did you install it? I can't answer that for you, as you installed it, not me.
Similar answer for the database question - you installed it, you should have all the details.
If you genuinely don't have any of this (maybe because an admin left you without a proper handover?), then have a look at Admin -> System Information. That might not tell you the host name, but it will give you the database and more than enough information to identify the server you've got it installed on.
Also, please ask questions, not make "discussions" out of something you are *asking*
okey!.
we are actually backup admins, and not the jira admins,
we got a request from jira(Cloud based) Admins to automate the backups to cloud on daily basis. Is there any way to do that?
