Feature Splitting is not carrying over the associated stories

Hi - I'm thinking there is a setting somewhere in JA that I'm missing. When splitting a feature, we're having to go and manually move the associated stories over as it's not done automatically with the feature split.

What are we missing here?

G'day Vera,

to better understand your question you are doing the following:  you split a feature and all stories remain on the (PART 1) feature and the (Part 2) feature has no stories?

According to 

https://help.jiraalign.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002828813-10X-Features-Additional-Options

the system should move all not accepted stories to Part 2 of the feature and leave all accepted stories on part 1 of the feature. Can you check if the stories you want to be on Part 2 are in fact not accepted?
