We have seen several users being locked out over the past 2 weeks, we have looked at LDAP configuration and also tried deleting and re-adding their Jira account but they still are unable to login.

We have a Jira 5 install on another environment and their logins are working fine with that.

Is there any Jira server lock file for a user level or anything in the database we can check?

Thanks

Hi Matthew

The only option to "disable" an user account is removing him from the group configured as JIRA USER in Global Permission. From the box, the group is jira-users. For further details, please review the following link:

Also, since you have a LDAP directory, perhaps you may have the same user in both directories (internal and external) which can explain this error regarding a bad directory priority settings. For further details, please https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA051/Managing+Multiple+Directoriesuse the following link as your guideline:

Anyway, perhaps you should raise a new support ticket for an advanced assistance.

Cheers,

Paulo Renato
