Add due date to Agile Board card in Jira

Hello, I use the agile board within Jira to keep track of projects. Is there any way of adding an additional field to one of the cards with a custom color that shows when a project is due? Currently the card only shows the user avatar, and a number and name associated with the project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The feature to add items to the card directly is not built into Greenhopper as of yet. We have a standing feature request which our Greenhopper team is working on to implement at the moment.

If you follow that ticket, you should be able to get updates on the updates and when the feature will be rolled out.

Go to configure your board and card colours and use the jql to create if it is coming due or past due and set the color based on that. Hope this helps.
