To setup hipchat - we need an SSL certificate for that the SSLs provider asks us to pur a file in Hipchat's WWW root folder.
Where do we find that in the Hipchat server?

Hi Omar,

To setup SSL in HipChat Server, you can use the HCS Web UI to install the chain (UI -> Server Admin -> SSL) or via the command line. More info can be found at Creating or Obtaining an SSL Key or Certificate.

Hope this helps!

Hi David.

What you are referring to is where in HCS to upload the SSL key information AFTER obtaining the certificate. However, our Certificate authority (SSLs in this case) requires us to prove we own the domain. to do that, they ask us to place a simple text file with a predefined string and name in the root folder of our WWW server, which is what we're trying to figure out -  where should that file be located in the Hipchat AMI instance we made, so we can access http://our.domain.com/FileFromCA

We've already been tried looking through the documentation and couldn't  find anything to point us in the right direction.
