join attlassian with hipchat

I'm on Windows XP and when I log into HipChat I get bounced to a page telling me my HipChat acct is being joined with my Atlassian acct.  I'll enter my PW for my Atlassian acct and the server's response is to bounce me back to the HipChat login screen, where the loop starts over again.....ad nausem.  Any idea why the system keeps bouncing me back and forth without throwing an error, or responding in a way to escape this loop?

Hi Dan,

We have confirmed and am in the process of fixing this issue.

In the mean time, I have attached to the issue the workaround procedure to get your Atlassian account linked to HipChat.
